Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our client in Troutdale, OR that specializes in tube fabrication. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for keeping machinery and equipment in good repair following manufacturer specifications.

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

Pay: $25.00HR

Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Examines machines for defects in operation, replaces defective parts, and produces replacement parts in emergency situations
• Performs general, non-specialized tasks in the maintenance of the building and general property
• Troubleshoot and identify malfunctioning components
• Basic knowledge of how machines operate
• Maintenance intervals for machine components
• Follow scheduled routine preventative maintenance
• Operate man-lifts and lift trucks
• Mechanical and electrical disassembly, repair and reassemble
• Installation of piping systems for air, water, and gas
• Maintain parts inventory and initiate purchase requisitions as appropriate

Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:

• High school Graduate
• 18+ years old
• 5+ years of recent experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician
• Experience performing routine maintenance, such as machine lubrication, preventive maintenance and hydraulic systems
• Electrical and PLC experience highly desirable
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds frequently
