Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Fabricator for our client that specializes in steel fabrication. The successful candidate will be able to build from prints, proficient with Flux Core and work independently.
Fabricator Shift: Swing
Fabricator Pay: $27-29/hr DOE
Fabricator Responsibilities:
- Ensure production requirements are met
- Assist and or train other fabricators/welders on proper technique
- Assist with organization and planning of shop floor
- Quality control
- Weld and fabricate from print
- Finish work: clean and polish welds
- Be mindful of cost and proactively work on saving measures
Fabricator Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience welding and fabricating
- Pass a 3G 1" .052 FCAW test
- Carbon Arc Gouging experience
- Operator hand tools, grinders, sanders, drills etc.
- Read and understand blue prints and drawings
- Be able to lift, pull and push up to 75 pounds
- Be able to work overtime
